The video was shot in Mumbai, Shillong, and Tura, and was released on over 400 digital platforms on July 18. The director, Talukdar, stated that the song empowers women and asks society to stop portraying them in a certain way. The cinematographer, Dipankar Sarkar, also hails from Meghalaya and contributed to the project in various ways, making it a “home team” effort.
